Here is where you can submit questions you have for moms with multiple sclerosis to be either discussed on our radio show or in a blog post response at a later date. If you are interested in applying to be a blogger you can do that here as well. We will occasionally publish these as posts so keep this in mind and please don’t write anything you wouldn’t want the world to know or let us know if you have a reason to keep it private. If you are writing to a particular blogger be sure to let us know!!
If you see a message that says you can’t post, just register HERE and then you can! We look forward to hearing from you!

I am stopping treatment to clean out my system for baby number 2. Any advice? Thanks
Lots of moms have done lots of different things…within the community you can read about it and there us also groups for “trying to conceive” and “pregnant” moms…if you are a mom to be or planning to be you are welcome to join! (www.momswithms.com is the community)
It depends on what medicine you are taking too, personally I was on copaxone and didn’t worry about it, with my first pregnancy I was instructed to stay on so it depends on your doctors too.
Is it okay for pregnant women living with MS to have an epidural during the labor process, in the same spot as a previous lumbar puncture? Is it administered in the same way?
Totally a question for your doctor, I had one with my first baby who i had in the hospital and chose to have my second at home so no pain meds. I recommend any moms with questions come join the conversation in the community, more than 600 moms there to tell you how they did it.
Kristin
I ended up getting an epidural with my most recent pregnancy too. so with my first and third… Kristin

I am in my 14th week of my first pregnancy. I have had MS since I was 19. I am currently off my Tysabri and am starting to feel leg pain that was a more common occurance during the first few years of my diagnosis, when I was on Avonex. I have not had any exacerbations in over 2 years, since I began Tysabri. Does anyone know how to tell if this is an exacerbation or just another pregnancy symptom? Any answers or suggestions are welcomed!!
