Primary Therapy

The aim of a primary treatment is to eliminate cancer from your body entirely or destroy all the cancer cells.

Any treatment for cancer may be used as a primary treatment but the most common primary treatment for cancer is surgery. If your cancer is particularly sensitive to radiation therapy or chemotherapy, you may receive one of those therapies as your primary treatment.

Adjuvant treatment

The purpose of adjuvant therapy is to destroy any cancer cells that might remain after primary therapy to minimize the risk of the cancer returning.

It can be used as an adjuvant therapy for any cancer treatment. Popular adjuvant therapies include chemotherapy, and hormone therapy.

Neoadjuvant therapy is similar but therapies are used before primary therapy to make the primary therapy simpler or more effective.

Palliative treatment

They can help alleviate side effects of the treatment or cancer-caused symptoms themselves. The symptoms can be treated with surgery , radiation, chemotherapy and hormone therapy. Some medicines can alleviate symptoms such as pain and shortness of breath.

Palliative treatment can be used at the same time as other treatments intended to cure your cancer.

• Surgery. The goal of surgery is to remove cancer or as much of cancer as possible.
• Chemotherapy. Chemotherapy uses drugs to kill cancer cells.

Radiation treatment

Transplant bone marrow

A bone marrow transplant allows your doctor to use higher doses of chemotherapy to treat your cancer. It may also be used to replace diseased bone marrow.

Immunotherapy

Immunotherapy, also called biological therapy, uses the immune response in the body to fight cancer. Cancer will live unnoticed in your body since it is not recognized as an intruder by your immune system. Immunotherapy will help “see” cancer through the immune system and fight it.

Hormone care

Some forms of cancer are being fuelled by hormones in your body. Examples include breast cancer and prostate cancer. Removing those hormones from the body or blocking their effects may cause the cancer cells to stop growing.

Cryotherapy or Cryoablation

This therapy is killing cold cancer cells. A thin, wand like needle (cryoprobe) is inserted through the skin, directly into the cancer tumour, during cryoablation. To freeze the tissue a gas is injected into the cryoprobe. Then it is allowed the tissue to thaw. The freezing and thawing process is repeated several times during the same treatment session in order to kill the cancer cells.

Radiofrequency ablation

This treatment uses electrical energy to heat cancer cells, causing them to die. During radiofrequency ablation, a doctor guides a thin needle through the skin or through an incision and into the cancer tissue. High-frequency energy passes through the needle and causes the surrounding tissue to heat up, killing the nearby cells.

Other treatments may be available to you, depending on your type of cancer.

The era of Romanticism emphasized intense emotion as an authentic source of aesthetic experience. In the remarks of German painter Caspar David Friedrich, romantics is an emotion summed as “ the artists feeling in law”.

CONTEXT

“Romance” and “Romanesque”, has a complicated history.

To say, the word Romanticism, is to say modern art – that is, intimacy, spirituality, color, aspiration towards the infinite, expressed by every means available to the arts.

HISTORY

Approximately, in the period from 1800 to 1890 there blew a wind of love. Secretly, dropping traces of love.

Romanticism is a French word derived from “Romance”.

Romanticism was strongly associated to nationalism in many countries. It was fueled by the French Revolution. That was a reaction to the scientific rationalism and classicism of the Age of Enlightenment.

It emphasized on the inner reflections as a prerequisite for improving the society. The end of the Romantic era is marked in some areas by a new style, which affected literature, especially the novel and drama, painting, and even music.

AGE OF ENLIGHTENMENT
